Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our sleep laboratory team. The technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, provide overnight patient care, and support clinical research activities in a modern sleep-lab environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic PSG and CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and AVAPS titration studies.
  • Perform pediatric PSG, MSLT, and MWT studies according to AASM standards.
  • Monitor and score studies using Compumedics Profusion.
  • Educate patients on PAP therapy and provide compassionate overnight care.
  • Complete accurate clinical and research documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and AASM accreditation activities.
  • Support sponsored sleep research and mentor technologist trainees.

Qualifications

  • Current BRPT RPSGT certification in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of independent PSG experience.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Compumedics Profusion experience preferred; cross-training available.
  • Strong communication, patient-care, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently overnight and lift approximately 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric PSG experience.
  • Sleep research or clinical-trial experience.
  • GCP/IATA training.
  • Experience mentoring junior technologists.
