Harvest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leader in sleep health to identify skilled Sleep Technologists and those looking to become a Sleep Technologist for multiple full time and PRN openings in Beaumont, TX. Location: Beaumont, TX 77701

Schedule: Nights 4 - 10 HR Shifts

Compensation: Sign-On Bonus Available + Competitive Hourly Pay Based on Experience


Job Summary

The Sleep Technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, ensuring high-quality data collection and exceptional patient care. This role supports both registered and certified professionals, with opportunities for continued growth and credential advancement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and support a range of diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, including PSG, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and specialized testing such as MSLT and MWT, while ensuring data integrity, proper equipment calibration, and adherence to accreditation standards
  • Perform overnight polysomnographic (PSG) studies in accordance with established clinical protocols
  • Prepare patients for testing, including electrode placement and equipment setup
  • Monitor patients throughout studies and document clinical observations
  • Score sleep studies in alignment with AASM scoring manual, where applicable
  • Identify and respond to respiratory and cardiac events
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and study records
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of sleep lab equipment
  • Educate patients on sleep procedures and treatment expectations


Work Environment & Structure

  • Typical patient to tech to patient ratio: 2:1
  • Scoring responsibilities: Vary by location
  • Equipment/Systems used: Natus, Compumedics, Respironics, and Neurovirtual
  • Lab environment: Well-structured with consistent protocols and strong physician collaboration

 

Qualifications

  • RPSGT preferred
  • CPSGT preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Ability to work independently in an overnight setting with minimal supervision
