The Engineered Solutions Sales Leader (ESSL) will exercise primary control over all customer-related activities and problems within the assigned area for the engineered solutions product portfolio. The ESSL will work with the Regional Sales Manager and other factory-functional areas to complete assigned sales and marketing goals.
The primary responsibility of the Engineered Solutions Sales Leader is to manage the direct selling activities of oil-free, gas generation, high-pressure and low-pressure compression Quincy Multi-Brand Products and define accounts located in the assigned geographical territory. The ESSL is to perform all assigned tasks to assure that individual and company goals are achieved in respect to maximum sales volume and profitability.
Principle Duties:
• Support and mentor AIM salespeople in the engineered solutions product portfolio
• Have in-depth knowledge of engineered solutions portfolio and technical sales support
• Drive market share growth of engineered solutions products through the sales team
• Design and engineer compressed air and gas generation solutions
• Develop relationships with key engineered solutions accounts in assigned territory
• Track customer calls and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool as directed
• Effectively manage quote log of engineered solutions products in territory and follow up as needed
• Assist in auditing compressed air systems and present results
• Directly call on A&E firms, large contractors and strategic accounts in assigned territory
• Do lunch and learns and help develop bid specifications for engineered solutions products
• Develop understanding of competitive landscape in engineered solutions market
• Work with product managers to ensure all engineered solutions products are positioned for success in the market
• Stay current with developments in all engineered solutions products
• Provide training to AIM salespeople on all engineered solutions products and technical sales tactics
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred; degree in Business, Marketing or management considered with supplemental technical training or experience
• 7+ years compressor industry experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• General knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, gas generation and air treatment
• Ability to create and manage marketing plans and strategies
• Exceptional communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter
• Must be able to travel frequently by air travel to attend trainings and sales meetings
• Extremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines and database management
We offer potential earnings of $150,000 (base salary of $70,340 - $92,030 gross per year based on knowledge and experience, plus car allowance and commission).
Physical Demands:
• Required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking) and customer sites, varying by location.
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Must comply with all Company PPE policies as directed.
• While at customer locations, must comply with Company PPE policies as a minimum, and customer PPE policies as directed.
Work Environment:
• Mainly a field environment, with significant exposure to customers' varying industrial environments.
MAY BE REQUIRED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED, DIRECTED, OR ASSIGNED.
Location
You will be remote near Sacramento, Bay Area, CA with a dedicated territory.
