Commercial Tool Group (CTG) is looking to add a Driver to our team, within our Comstock Park, MI facility!

Our Truck Drivers are the critical link between CTG and our customers. This job requires candidates to operate straight trucks and/or pickup to deliver molds or other products in a time-effective manner while focusing on safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Deliver goods to customers as directed, ensuring that each load is properly secured.
  • Operate vehicles in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Keep trucks clean using downtime to comply on a daily basis.
  • Follow all laws and DOT regulations.
  • Complete and maintain daily the Vehicle Inspection Report and Driver's Daily Log.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by management.

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

  • Ability to interact effectively with various departments in the organization.
  • CDL Class A operator's license with experience transporting heavy equipment and automated machine cells and excellent driving record desired.
  • Lowboy truck trailers and Calistoga trucks preferred.
  • 1+ years Commercial Driving experience required.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
