Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Compensation: Starting at $40 per hour; paid bi-weekly (Estimated annual earning potential of up to $115,000 w/ benefits)

* $40-$60/hour for Master's Level Therapists

* $50-$75/hour for Doctoral Level Therapists

Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time or W-2 Part-Time Employee; Exempt

Schedule: Build your own schedule - office hours include: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; Saturdays 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Location: This is an in-person role based out of Central San Diego, CA


Positive Change Counseling Center (PCCC) in California is actively hiring Licensed Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs and LPCCs to join our growing team! PCCC offers the opportunity to build a caseload around your strengths and specialties while providing collaboration opportunities with likeminded clinicians. Licensed Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
  • Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
  • Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
  • Full Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 5-6 clients per day; minimum of 25 clients per week required
  • Part Time: Maintain an active caseload of approximately 3-4 clients per day; minimum of 15 clients per week required
  • Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
  • Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies

Requirements

Licensed Mental Health Therapist Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California (Active & Registered with BBS/BOP)
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
  • Ability to provide therapy independently
  • Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
  • Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.
  • Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
