Job description

Maaco Bremerton is looking for a qualified Automotive Painter. Requirements are listed below. If you have experience bring in your resume and be prepared to demonstrate your abilities. Posting will be removed once postion is filled. ย Opening avilible Imidately. ย 
Candidate must be able to work at production shop pace and be able to demonstrate concern for quality. Experience in single stage and base coat/clear coat finishes is required. Dependability and ability to adapt are necessary for the right candidate. Position is full time and paid hourly. Prior employment references are required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of production to meet center goals of 8+ vehicles per day.
  • Adhere to MAACOโ€™s Quality Standards for finished work.
  • Control costs by utilizing time and materials efficiently, with little or no paint materials waste, and at a cost of less than 20% of paint sales.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including the paint mixing room, spray booth, spray equipment, oven, etc. as described in MAACOโ€™s procedures.
  • Utilize all health and safety equipment, including the fresh air supplied respirator system.
  • Adhere to all safety rules in dealing with hazardous materials.
  • Make pre-booth quality checks of vehicles to be painted as defined by MAACOโ€™s procedures.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the booth, oven, spray equipment, and mixing equipment, etc. as defined by MAACOโ€™s procedures.
  • Be required to help in the Paintline to eliminate production jambs if needed.
  • Assist in training and developing โ€œback-upโ€ painting personnel.
  • Function as a member of the MAACO team.
  • Perform compounding and polishing of finished jobs when necessary to remove dirt and/or paint defects
  • Performs warranty and/or re-do work at no cost.ย
