  • Support process development by following established procedures, providing feedback, and helping refine composite manufacturing methods.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to produce composite parts that meet design requirements.
  • Handle composite materials such as fiberglass, epoxy, and other composite systems in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures throughout the fabrication process.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with leadership and peers to coordinate work, address issues, and ensure alignment with production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with manufacturing and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement improvements.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to support both first and second shift production needs as required.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to work to tight tolerances on critical flight structures and maintain high quality standards.
  • Proficiency working with composite materials, including fiberglass and epoxy systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with leadership and peers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Capability to support process development activities and adapt to evolving procedures.
  • Willingness and ability to work first and second shifts if needed (approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous composite or fiberglass fabrication experience is highly desirable.
  • Interest in UAS/UAV (uncrewed aircraft systems/vehicles) as a hobby is considered a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly related to aerospace or flight structures, is beneficial.
  • A two-year technical degree is desired but not required.
  • Comfort participating in an onsite interview and discussing prior work history in detail.
