    Job Description

    Pay Range: $17.25 - $23.00 

    The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.

      Responsibilities 

      • Wear mandatory PPE (Safety Glasses, Ear plugs, Safety Composite or Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Vest, Hard Hat, Full-body Safety Harness)
      • Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
      • Movement of carts in and out of production work area  
      • Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units  
      • Assembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit
      • Scan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction
      • Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
      • Utilize production reports to assist in production planning 
      • Work with and collaborate with "Picking Operator" throughout the assigned shift
      • Identify safety hazards in the workplace
      • Assist with picking windows order picker equipment at elevated heights up to 20 feet from ground level
      Qualifications

      Qualifications 

      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
      • Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex. 
      • Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32" 
      • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
      • Able to convert fractions to decimals 
      • Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions 
      • Capable of using computerized equipment 
      • Ability to move carts in and out of production areas 
      • 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
      • Frequent exposure to loud noises
