A Day in the Life

The Vendor Compliance Clerk works with the Vendor Compliance Specialist to assist with ongoing compliance monitoring ensuring all policies and procedures for vendors are followed. The successful candidate is detailed oriented, consistently delivers project completion on time, has excellent communication and time management skills that can inspire a true team atmosphere.

What does success look like in this role?

The ideal candidate has effective communication and interaction across all levels of the organization including clients to successfully complete on-boarding presentations. This person must have the ability to train team members in vendor compliance processes. They must be comfortable to work independently but also embrace collaboration and working within a dynamic, positive, and energetic team.

The following schedule is available for this role:

Shift:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

Starting Pay:
$21/hr - $25.50/hr

All About You

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Knowledge with Retail Compliance Guidelines and experience working with vendors and suppliers
  • Must be a high-compliant and accurate individual
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly assimilate an understanding of business operations with experience in developing and improving internal compliance standards
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)

The Must Haves:

  • 2+ years of client/customer services experience in warehouse or transportation environment, vendor compliance experience a plus
  • Intermediate experience with ERP systems, 3rd party Portals
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse

Things You Will be Doing

  • Analyze, research chargebacks, determine findings to communicate to the client and work with Client Services and the Operations teams to help determine root cause
  • Reach out to clients and/or retailers for chargeback validation and create work orders if required
  • Maintain and update label retailer maintenance in Office 365, compliance tools such as binders, label rings and templates
  • FollowingNRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocol and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
  • Performs other duties as requested
