Compliance Field Technician: Green Bay, WI
Applicants must live within 60 minutes of advertised city to be considered.
Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As a Field Service Technician, you will learn through an apprenticeship style program until you are certified. In this role you will work on various job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs while using our proprietary software, TANCS, to record your findings.
About Tanknology:
Tanknology is the largest company dedicated to protecting the environment from fuel leaks in tanks and piping systems. With operations nationwide, we are experiencing growth and seeking motivated individuals who are ready for a rewarding career with an industry leader.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys
  • Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems
  • Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
  • Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to the Operations team
  • Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your company vehicle

What We're Looking For:
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)
  • Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily
  • Basic computer skills for data entry
  • Effective communication skills
  • Passion for Safety: A commitment to safety is non-negotiable. You'll prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and your team.
