About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Support Clerk to join our compliance team.  This role supports our Compliance Attorney in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate brings prior experience in the collections industry and thrives under deadline pressure with a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

•       Assist with the firm’s complaint management system by logging, reviewing, responding to consumer concerns in a timely and compliant manner

•       Escalate complaints to the Compliance Attorney when appropriate.

•       Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the case management system in accordance with firm policies and client requirements

•       Maintain a calendar of regularly scheduled client deliverables, proactively flagging upcoming deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

•       Support ad hoc compliance projects as requested by the Compliance Attorney

Qualifications

Required

•       Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment

•       Strong written and verbal communication skills

•       Excellent computer skills

•       High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and recordkeeping
