Responsibilities

Complete Building Services is in search of an Assistant Maintenance Director to assist the Maintenance Director at the Pentagon. The (AMD) will assist in overseeing the daily operation and maintenance to ensure the successful completion of service calls, preventative and corrective maintenance, and work orders. The (AMD) will assist the daily upkeep of PM's/SC/CM record and work orders in the MAXIMO work order system. The (AMD) shall also assist in the operation and maintenance of mechanical/HVAC equipment to include mission-critical systems.

  • Responsible for the building's systems including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and the supervision of technicians
  • Develop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goals
  • Develop processes, procedures and standards for the facilities operational performance
  • Read and understand contract and RFP requirements
  • Create an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employees
  • Review work performance of subordinates
  • Manage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PM's through MAXIMO
  • Assist with environmental compliance
  • Assist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Hours: Mon-Fri day shift and OT as needed

Salary: $44.73 per hour

Qualifications
  • Must possess a minimum of four (4) years experience 
  • Must pass a background check
  • Demonstrate competency in other disciplines such as HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical
  • Standard HVAC FPIU, CRAC units, AHU, pumps, motos, Chillers, exhaust fans, chemical sensors, VFD water treatment
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet project deadlines
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systems
  • Ability to read, review, and understand blueprints
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Shall be available for emergency contact via cell phone twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year
  • Shall be available to work flexible hours as required in response to emergency situations
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, CMMS and project tracking software
