Job description

Regional Bulk Sales Manager
Candidate will home office, out of the Burlington, WI or Chicago IL area.
JobResponsibilities:
Lead a team of sales representatives in the following states Wisconsin, Illinois & Indiana
Collaborate with business development, marketing and geographic sales teams to identify prospects for sales of company's onsite plant & pipeline offerings and package gas offerings
Qualify prospects based on preliminary assessment of financial viability, technical solutions, competitive landscape, etc.
Collaborate with internal resources to develop Capex and Opex budgets; author technical and commercial proposals that conform with specifications, scope of supply, and project execution requirements provided by the customer
Achieve objectives for sales and gross profit for air separation and carbon dioxide plants in the geographic area of responsibility.
Maintain up-to-date information in the Matheson Sales Model system
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports
Effectively manage travel expenses and meet individualized training requirements
Comply with company policies in safety, quality, general, administrative, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may beassigned.
Lead team to zero accident performance
Meet or exceed new business growth targets
Manage relationships and profitability at existing accounts
Manage pricing and contract administration
Support collection efforts
Cross Selling activities
Interface & coordinate external customers with internal functional groups during installation, modification, service, and removal phase of projects
Provide expert input to business development and marketing plans
Required Skills:
Proficient in CRM applications
Proficient in Microsoft office suite
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline; may consider substitute experience in a related technical field for humanities or liberal arts majors
Minimum 5 years of B2B experience selling technical solutions to industrial clients
Must have a track record of successfully closing complex sales involving negotiation of long-term supply agreements
Travel: 50%
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
