We are growing rapidly and need the right candidate to join our Accounting and Finance team!You will support Aire Serv/Mr. Electric/Molly Maid/Glass Doctor/Five Star Painting.


Complete Home Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our growing accounting team! This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting. As a key player in our accounting department, you'll assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) management, preparing journal entries, and generating cost analysis reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other office platforms.


What You'll Do

  • Manage financial close processes in compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage our Accounting Manager and share oversight of the bookkeeping staff.
  • Review accounts and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with the Accounting Manager, General Managers, Controller, and CFO to analyze and communicate financial performance to our leadership team.
  • Play a key role in acquisition-related tasks including due diligence, integration of acquired company financial information and processes in accordance with GAAP.
  • Routinely audit processes and procedures.
  • Work with the Controller to maintain and roll-up financials within the company accounting software.
  • Provide leadership as we add to our team.
  • Adopt, implement, and audit internal control measures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; CPA preferred but not required for experienced candidates
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Working knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online required
  • Experience in process implementation and continuous improvement
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Ability to lead and support an accounting and bookkeeping team in alignment with our Core Values
  • Experience with software and inventory systems is a plus
  • Merger and acquisition experience is a plus

  • Competitive Salary ranging from $50,000-$65,000 per year DOE

  • You will start with 64 hours of PTO, which will increase with tenure up to a maximum of 144 hours
