The Specialist, Lateral Partner Recruiting works closely with the Director of Legal Recruiting and Manager of Lateral Partner Recruiting to execute the firm's strategic lateral partner recruiting initiatives. This role coordinates all aspects of the lateral partner recruiting process across firm offices and regularly interfaces with partners, search firms, candidates, and the firm's business professionals, serving as a proactive representative of the firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in lateral attorney recruiting within a large law firm.  Success in this role requires the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple, competing responsibilities while delivering client service excellence on both routine and complex matters with internal and external stakeholders, including candidates, attorneys, and search firms.

Responsibilities
  • Review resumes, profiles, business plans, and related candidate materials; present to firm leadership and coordinate internal follow-up
  • Oversee the lateral partner interview process, including scheduling and feedback collection
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the firm to advance candidates through conflicts, due diligence, financial modeling, and related processes
  • Prepare correspondence regarding candidate status and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain candidate documents and profiles in the tracking system; manage administrative processes related to recruiting materials
  • Utilize competitive intelligence resources to research prospective candidates and groups
  • Maintain and update recruiting content across LinkedIn, the Careers blog, the firm website, and email marketing platforms
  • Provide metrics, reports, and updates on recruiting initiatives as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak period as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting, human resources, talent development, legal practice, or project management experience required
  • Large law firm, search firm, or professional services experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with general database management
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the organization

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The figures below represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be between the range minimum and midpoint based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.Milwaukee, Tampa - $77,500 to $108,500Chicago, Dallas, Houston,- $85,300 to $119,400Washington D.C. - $93,000 to $130,200 #LI-Hybrid
