Job description

Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented Product Manager to join our manufacturing team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Industrial Manufacturing Product Manager Overview:   

Responsible for understanding markets and competition to guide the company's product line direction and ensure offerings meet customers' requirements. This position will work closely with engineering, sales, operations, and leadership to translate market and customer data into clear strategic recommendations.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis across the industrial winch, hoist, and drive-product markets
  • Build and maintain competitive intelligence on key competitors, tracking product offerings, pricing, positioning, and market share shifts
  • Identify whitespace and underserved market segments through structured analysis of industry data, customer feedback, and macro trends (e.g., utility spend, electrification, commodity/tariff impacts)
  • Engage directly with customers, distributors, and sales teams to gather feedback and validate market assumptions
  • Monitor industry regulations, technology trends, and adjacent-market developments relevant to product strategy
  • Translate market and customer research into clear, data-backed recommendations for product investment, market entry, or market exit
  • Develop and maintain market and competitive landscape reports for leadership review

Product Strategy

  • Define product strategy and prioritize initiatives based on market opportunity, competitive positioning, and business goals
  • Partner with leadership to align product strategy with the company's broader growth objectives
  • Provide market and competitive input into product planning, launch, and ongoing management as needed
  • Support go-to-market planning with market analysis and competitive positioning input

  • Align expectations and resolve conflicts when teams or stakeholders disagree on strategic direction

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management, market analysis, or a related strategic role within a business-to-business (B2B) or industrial manufacturing environment — required. Candidates without B2B/industrial experience will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Demonstrated, strong market analysis skills, including market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, and trend identification
  • Experience translating market research and data into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with market research, analytics, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics)
  • Experience conducting data analytics, market analysis, and cost modeling
  • Organized self-starter with initiative, creativity, and the ability to influence others
  • Exceptional communication skills (interpersonal, written, and presentation)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must remain in a stationary position (sit/stand) for extended periods. 
  • Must operate a computer for extended periods. 
  • Must have adequate vision for computer work and reviewing documents. 
  • Must be physically capable of lifting, up to 25 lbs., occasionally. 
  • Must be physically capable of occasional bending, squatting, or stooping.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly for effective communication. 
  • Must wear required PPE when in applicable areas.
