Position Overview Acquisition Intelligence Specialist will support capability development, test, research and development, and the acquisition life cycle. Advisors will derive intelligence about adversary threats and the planning for intelligence dependencies in acquisition. This includes managing potential threats to an acquisition effort and focusing on critical intelligence parameters. Develops and delivers intelligence reports, technical data, and assessments for acquisition programs to meet the needs of senior leaders and portfolio staff.
Essential Job Function
  • Collaboration: Work closely with acquisition, intelligence, and counterintelligence communities to identify and resolve intelligence issues related to new and existing programs.
  • Briefings and Presentations: Prepare and present briefings, updates, and summaries to senior leaders and portfolio leadership, ensuring intelligence requirements are clearly defined and documented.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of intelligence data to support decision-making processes and provide actionable insights.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan and facilitate portfolio-focused meetings and working groups, providing after-action reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies or related discipline.
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Completion of the following courses: CLR 101, Introduction to the Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System; ACQ 101, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management; ACQ 110, Fundamentals of Acquisition Intelligence; ACQ 210, Acquisition Intelligence Level 2.
    4 years of recent experience in an acquisition intelligence designated position.
  • Strong analytical capability and executive-level verbal and written communication
  • Ability to deliver concise, logical briefings tailored to present air-focused threat analysis to executive-level audiences
