We are looking for an Industrial Automation Sales Manager to join our Rexel team located in Hollywood, FL!

We are looking for an Automation Sales Manager to continue our growth in central Florida — be the strategic face of Rexel to new and existing industrial customers.

Summary

The Industrial Automation Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy to expand the Automation business within assigned region/territory with existing customers and to acquire new customers.


What You’ll Do

  • Work hours: 8am-5pm / Mon-Fri

  • Develop and implement sales strategy and execute plans to expand the Automation business within assigned region/territory with existing customers, and to acquire new customers

  • Develop, lead, and mentor sales team to drive consistent profitable growth

  • Engage with executive decision makers at key and target customers

  • Develop and oversee scalable and discipline sales process utilizing CRM for funnel management

  • Assist regional commercial leadership with review and implementation of Rexel and key supplier initiatives

  • Lead team to execute commercial plans for new growth sectors, such as, Information Software, Process Automation, IIOT and others

  • Understand customer specific business challenges for OEM, End Users, System Integrators, Contractors, and others

  • Drive digital adoption as digital champion with team and customers

  • Review and present contractual purchase order requirements for review by legal teams

  • Create a best place to work environment for all employees

  • Create a culture focused on success and winning

  • Celebrate team and individual accomplishments

  • Appropriately address performance challenges

  • Monitor and maintain market and competitive intelligence; develop database detailing competitor information in our market area

  • Lead customer success – Net Promoter Score tool management

Qualifications
What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the electrical distribution industry, preferably in the industrial automation sector (Rockwell/Allen Bradley knowledge a plus)

  • Prior management experience preferred

  • High School or GED - Required

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

  • Strong leadership, organizational/planning skills as well as ability to influence and lead through others

  • Proven track record and skills to drive positive business performance
