Job description

Biosite, an ASSA ABLOY company, is transforming how construction projects manage workforce access, safety, security, and operational efficiency.Β

Our technology-enabled solutions help owners, general contractors, and project teams gain greater visibility and control across complex construction environments. From workforce and visitor management to site access control, credentialing, time and attendance tracking, mustering, and site security, Biosite delivers the real-time insights customers need to operate safer, more productive job sites.Β

Backed by the strength and stability of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, Biosite combines the agility of a growth-oriented technology business with the resources, innovation, and support of a world-class organization.Β

As we continue to expand across North America, we are seeking high-performing Area Sales Managers to own and grow key territories nationwide.Β

THE OPPORTUNITYΒ

Approximately 50% Regional Travel

Base Salary $90K + Uncapped Commission

This is a field-based, quota-carrying sales role responsible for developing and executing a regional growth strategy while managing the full customer lifecycle within your assigned territory.Β

Biosite'sΒ growth strategy is focused on supporting many of North America's largest and most complex construction projects, including data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, healthcare campuses, stadiums, hospitality developments, and other projects often exceeding $100 million in value.Β

Successful Area Sales Managers combine new business development, strategic account management, and consultative selling to drive sustainable growth. You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, developing executive-level relationships, closing complex solutions, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring long-term customer success in partnership with our Customer Excellence team.Β

This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building a territory, solving customer challenges, and creating long-term value for clients and partners.Β

WHAT YOU'LL DOΒ

Own and Grow Your TerritoryΒ

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration.Β

  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities across large commercial and industrial construction projects.Β

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities and account expansion initiatives.Β

Drive New Business DevelopmentΒ

  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, market intelligence, and customer relationships.Β

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across project teams and executive organizations.Β

  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.Β

Manage the Full Sales CycleΒ

  • Lead complex opportunities from initial discovery through proposal development, contract negotiation, closing, implementation, and ongoing account growth - across engagements ranging from mid-market to large enterprise contracts.Β

  • Articulate business value and return on investment to both operational and executive decision-makers.Β

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM data using Salesforce and sales intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo andΒ BuildCentral.Β

Develop Strategic Customer RelationshipsΒ

  • Build trusted relationships with general contractors, project executives, operations leaders, procurement teams, safety professionals, and site personnel.Β

  • Establish executive-level partnerships that support long-term account growth and retention.Β

  • Collaborate with Customer Excellence, Operations, and Leadership teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.Β

Serve as the Voice of the MarketΒ

  • Gather and communicate competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market trends.Β

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to strengthen messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.Β

  • Represent Biosite at industry events, customer meetings, and key networking opportunities.Β

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEΒ

Successful Area Sales Managers:Β

  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives.Β

  • Create sustainable pipelines through disciplined territory management.Β

  • Convert net-new opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.Β

  • Build strong executive and project-level relationships.Β

  • Drive customer retention and long-term account growth.Β

  • Represent the Biosite and ASSA ABLOY brands with professionalism and integrity.Β

WHO THRIVES HEREΒ

You'll likely be successful in this role if you:Β

  • Enjoy building and growing a territory with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.Β

  • Balance prospecting for new business with developing long-term customer relationships.Β

  • Are comfortable engaging both field personnel and executive decision-makers.Β

  • Excel in complex, consultative sales environments where multiple stakeholders influence purchasing decisions.Β

  • Are motivated by uncapped earnings and the opportunity to directly impact business growth.Β

  • Take pride in being viewed as a trusted advisor rather than simply a salesperson.Β

QUALIFICATIONSΒ

Required QualificationsΒ

  • 4+ years of quota-carrying B2B field sales experience.Β

  • Demonstrated success developing new business and managing customer relationships within a defined territory.Β

  • Experience managing a complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close.Β

  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.Β

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales intelligence tools (e.g., ZoomInfo,Β BuildCentral).Β

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.Β

Preferred QualificationsΒ

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.Β

  • Experience selling into the construction industry, commercial construction ecosystem, or adjacent markets serving construction customers.Β

  • Experience with construction technology, SaaS, workforce management, access control, security solutions, or related technology platforms.Β

  • Experience with equipment rental organizations, including companies such as United Rentals, Sunbelt Rentals, or similar providers.Β

  • Experience presenting software solutions and communicating complex value propositions to executive-level audiences.Β

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVELΒ

  • Remote, field-based position.Β

  • Candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.Β

  • Approximately 50% travel is expected.Β

  • Frequent customer meetings, project-site visits, industry events, and occasional overnight travel are required.Β

WHY JOIN BIOSITE?Β

  • Sell a differentiated combination of workforce management, site access control, software, and security solutions.Β

  • Own a defined territory with significant growth potential.Β

  • Help support some of North America'sΒ largest and most complex construction projects.Β

  • Competitive base salary of $90,000-$105,000 plus uncapped commission opportunity.Β

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee benefits.Β

  • Professional development opportunities within both Biosite and ASSA ABLOY.Β

  • Make a direct impact in a rapidly growing business backed by a global market leader.Β
