Capital Gymnastics NTC is seeking a positive, dependable Cheer Coach to support our cheer and tumbling programs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with youth athletes and contributing to a safe, energetic, and team-oriented gym environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Cheer Coach during recreational and competitive cheer practices
  • Teach and reinforce proper cheer techniques including motions, jumps, basic stunts, and tumbling skills
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive training environment
  • Support conditioning, choreography, and routine clean-up as directed
  • Assist with competition preparation and special events as needed
  • Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff
  • Follow all gym policies, safety procedures, and coaching standards
Qualifications
  • Cheerleading or gymnastics background preferred
  • Experience working with children in a coaching or instructional setting
  • Basic knowledge of cheer skills and safe spotting techniques
  • Reliable, positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Availability for evenings and weekends
  • Must pass background check and complete required safety training
