Job description

Overview
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: This is an on-site position Monday - Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays and is based at Red Lobster's corporate office in Orlando, FL.
The Senior Compensation Analyst will help to implement Red Lobster's compensation programs and pay practices, maintain job architecture, provide analytical support to key stakeholders. This role involves providing accurate detailed analysis and reporting on strategic and operational goals of compensation programs, incentives, market trends, and pay structures. In addition, as the subject matter expert, this position will be responsible for compensation projects and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Dive into data and build dynamic compensation models and reporting to provide insights for leadership.
  • Ensure compensation programs and initiatives are effectively executed, compliant, and aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure compensation records are accurately maintained in the HR systems.
  • Subject Matter Expert for the interpretation of federal, state and local laws to ensure compliance including minimum wage updates, FLSA, and EEOC.
  • Provide guidance to HR and organizational leaders on pay decisions, job architecture, compensation policies, and pay practices.
  • Responsible for ensuring the annual merit and bonus processes are accurate and processed timely.
  • Partners closely with HR and organizational leaders to review and process compensation requests.
  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date compensation resources. Regularly update content, improve resource accessibility, and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the information aligns with current policies.
  • Own the administration and organization of various compensation programs, employment offers, promotions/demotions, and termination packages.
  • Participate in market surveys and analyze results to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Preparing statistical analysis, data modeling, cost analysis in support of financial objectives.
  • Conduct review and audit of compensation related data.
  • Responsible for user-based compensation testing of upgrades and other system updates in HR systems.
  • Influence and assist with implementation of new Compensation programs, new systems, and special projects as requested.
  • Fulfill ad hoc query, data modeling and reporting requests.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Solid understanding of compensation structures and methodology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including expert Excel skills
  • Strong analytical background with experience analyzing large data sets
  • Proven experience working under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, within all levels of an organization
  • Strong knowledge of HR Systems (PeopleSoft a plus)
  • Experience leading projects and working in cross functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to develop strong working relationships with HR partners, IT and operational leadership
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience with handling compensation in multiple states (global experience a plus)

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in Compensation or two years' experience in Compensation plus two years in Human Resources and/ or Finance

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in compensation surveys and pricing tools
  • Experience with salary, hourly, and executive pay
  • Experience building and maintaining a job architecture
