Transporter Position Details:

  • Facility: St Anthonys Hospital

  • Location: St Petersburg, FL

  • Status: Full Time, Exempt: Hourly

  • Shift Hours: Day, evening or night shifts available

  • Weekend Work: Occasional

  • On Call: No

Transporter Key Responsibilities

Non-licensed member of the health team whose main responsibility is to:

  • Transport and discharge patients to their appropriate destinations.

  • Other functions include equipment maintenance and performance of basic life support (BLS) in an emergency situation.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent GED is preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred

  • Hospital Related experience is preferred
