If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of the entire accounting cycle, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Perform journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
  • Manage fixed assets, depreciation, loans, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with the company's external CPA firm for year-end tax preparation, audits, and financial reviews.
  • Analyze financial results and communicate trends, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting.
  • Strengthen internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with significant responsibility for general ledger accounting and month-end close.
  • Experience independently managing the full accounting cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • General ledger accounting

    • Financial statement preparation
    • Fixed assets and depreciation
    • Loans and interest
    • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Account reconciliations
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to company leadership.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting designation.
  • Experience with multi-state accounting and tax compliance.
  • Experience in construction, service, seasonal, property management, or similar industries.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and internal financial controls.
