Works With: ADEC staff and clients

Description of Role: Volunteers with ADEC are an essential part of our mission, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with disabilities.Volunteers at our day programs provide companionship and foster learning by using their own personal skills and hobbies. Volunteers can share their interests with the clients such as reading, art, games, and even baking. The possibilities are endless, and your time makes a lasting impact. Volunteer time is weekday and daytime hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interact with the clients and help them work on recreational activities or goals
  • Introduce a new skill or hobby to the clients
  • Bond and converse with clients

Desired Skills:

Desired Experience or Ideal Candidates:
