Responsibilities
  • Utilize a hands-on approach and team building focus to lead, coach, mentor, and supervise; rallying the team towards the common goal of achieving results
  • Actively promote the AVE vision, mission, culture, and QUEST values system amongst all team members
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans that will drive revenue and occupancy results and achieve financial targets
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to grow existing clients and forge new relationships to drive furnished suite occupancy and revenue goals
  • Work closely with the Leasing team to drive unfurnished apartment occupancy and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with leadership across all departments (asset/finance/marketing/IT/operations) to operate at the highest level and drive financial results
  • Manage budget and expenses to deliver financial results
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, clients, prospects, partners, etc. to drive brand service culture
  • Lead team in delivering elevated resident lifestyle through event programming, social media, and resident technology
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor team members in all community roles (sales, resident services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration) to operate at the highest level and deliver professional growth
  • Inspire and motivate all team members to operate at the highest level and empower them to take full ownership of their individual roles
  • Deliver urgent follow-up to resident inquiries to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Manage vendors and contractors to drive seamless operations
  • Walk make-readies and the community daily to ensure brand asset presentation standards and sales success
  • Manage apartment retention program to drive lease renewals
  • Audit digital storefronts on weekly basis to ensure competitive edge (Marketing Websites, Google MyBusiness/Yelp/Apartments.com, etc.)
  • Report on community performance by preparing weekly leasing and traffic reports, as well as monthly financial analysis
  • Represent your community at relevant industry and local events (Chamber of Commerce/Travel/Relocation/Real Estate) to drive brand awareness
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team-oriented environment

Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of direct leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, training, and supervising a team
  • Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success in driving sales, financial, and operational results to meet and exceed goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability think strategically
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, residents, and clients
  • Yardi and Orion systems knowledge preferred but not required

Compensation
  • $120,000-$140,000/year

Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
