The Community Wellness Coach operates within Broward Health Point to provide support, guidance, and advocacy to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. Acting as a vital liaison between patients and healthcare providers, the CWC plays a crucial role in ensuring access to quality care, personalized patient education, and coordinated services, with a focus on individual health and wellness.
Education:
* High School Diploma or GED
*Medical Assistant Training Program (or 2 years of the job experience)
Experience:
Essential:
* Five Years
Credentials:
* Certified Medical Assistants
* Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross)
*Level II Screening required
