POSITION: Community Resource Worker
SALARY SCHEDULE: $27.95 per hour
POSITION OPEN: August 4, 2026
CLOSING DATE: For best consideration, please apply by April 11, 2026. However, position will be open until filled.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A licensed Social Worker is required.
A successful candidate in this position advocates for the well-being of middle and high school aged students and their families by providing support from outside agencies, school based programs, and classroom interventions.
  • Ability to connect and organize support from school/district programs and outside agencies.
  • Assist students in improving their academic, behavioral, and social functioning.
  • Assist families in accessing information and/or referrals for counseling or other community support systems.
  • Work with family members and individuals from a child's home life to support their adjustment, learning, development, and success.
  • Offer support and education for school staff to help improve their understanding of cultural, societal, economical, or other factors that can impact students' education and behavior tendencies.
  • Identify, report, and assist the school district to intervene when abuse, neglect, or homelessness may occur.
  • Secure supplies and donations to assist schoolwide pantries.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Placement on District Student Services Salary Schedule $27.95 per hour. This position is 37.5 hours per week.
BENEFITS:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employee's Retirement System is available to Certificated employees with a contract of .50 FTE or greater. (This position qualifies for part time insurances.)
