Marketing and Community Relations Specialist

The Marketing and Community Relations Specialist is a key ambassador for the organization's Home Health, Hospice, Personal Care, and Medical Staffing services. This role is responsible for developing and executing engaging social media content and digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, educate the community, and drive referral growth. The specialist manages the organization's online presence across multiple platforms, creates compelling marketing materials, and analyzes engagement to enhance outreach efforts.

In addition to leading digital marketing initiatives, this position builds strong relationships within the community by attending and coordinating community events, health fairs, networking opportunities, and support groups. The Marketing and Community Relations Specialist promotes the organization's mission, clinical services, and staffing solutions while fostering trust with patients, families, healthcare professionals, referral sources, and community partners.

This is an onsite role in Charleston SCย 

As a Marketing and community Relations Specialist , hereโ€™s a big-picture view of what youโ€™ll do:

  • Manage andย maintainย social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).ย 
  • Create and schedule social media content highlighting community events, patient and caregiver resources, staff spotlights, service lines, and educational topics.ย 
  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages and comments in a professional and compassionate manner, and escalate clinical inquiries appropriately.ย 
  • Manage and monitor google reviews and website content.ย 
  • Manage received survey results and request google review asย appropriate.ย 
  • Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, networking meetings, and professional association gatherings.ย 
  • Develop andย maintainย relationships with referral sources including hospitals, physician offices, senior living communities, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, and community organizations, working closely with Business Development Representatives.ย 
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and local support groups related to chronic illness, caregiving, hospice, and end-of-life support.ย 
  • Educate the community on available services across home health, hospice, personal care, and medical staffing.ย 
  • Coordinates community recognition initiatives, including appreciation events, awareness campaigns, and storytelling efforts that promote the organization'sย mission, culture, and community goodwill.ย 
  • Coordinate, attend, andย facilitateย support groups for patients, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals.ย 
  • Assistย with planning educational workshops and community presentations related to caregiving, disease management, staffing solutions, and end-of-life care.ย 
  • Ensure all information shared aligns with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards.ย 
  • Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to ensure messaging isย accurateย and compliant.ย 
  • Coordinate, attend, andย facilitateย community events, such as the Alzheimer Walk, etc.ย 
  • Assistย in planning, promoting, and executing outreach events and recruitment-related activities.ย 
  • Coordinate materials, signage, and branded items for events.ย 
  • Provide regular reports on community engagement efforts, referral trends, and social media performance.ย 
  • Collaborate with marketing, recruitment, and clinical leadership to support organizational goals.ย
