Job Summary:
Provide leadership for the Office of Patient Relations by developing goals, objectives, policies and procedures; supervising, coordinating, and evaluating the activities; and performing personnel administration functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the daily operation of the Patient Relations team in planning, coordinating, and controlling the work of the department.
  • Provide direction and manage the Patient Relations team and the Medical Center to ensure adherence to the Service Recovery and Complaint and Grievance Resolution policy
  • Guide and manage the Patient Relations team and Medical Center staff to ensure adherence to operational standards of the Termination of the Clinician - Patient Relationship policy.
  • Build relationships with Medical Center leaders, faculty members, staff, patients, and visitors ensuring positive experiences.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, counsel and develop employees. This includes hiring, training, monitoring, and potentially terminating staff.
