Job description

As the first impression of our company for a new applicant, the Employee Experience/Community Relations Specialist will work closely with Medina Forest Meadows AND Wadsworth stores to manage open positions, screen applicants for departments, and create a positive experience for our applicants through the recruiting process. After the applicant is hired, this position will assist the new teammate during the onboarding and initial training processes to ensure the new teammate is set up for success with Buehler's. This position was developed to help make Buehler's a Great Place To Work!
Typical responsibilities of a Employee Experience/Community Relations Specialist may include:
Recruiting
  • Keeps training catalog up to date
  • Contact with all departments for store hiring needs - Request openings from HR
  • Evaluate candidates and use Talent Management as a resource
  • Post internal job flyers by timeclocks
  • Set up initial interviews- Phone screening or face to face
  • Completes Dayforce interview notes and decline/advance candidate
  • Updates step in process
  • Schedule final interview with Department Hiring Manager
  • Responsible for communication with declined candidates
  • Communicate with HR when a position has been filled and needs closed

  • Attained at least 18 years of age
  • Able to meet the requirements to occasionally stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# and occasionally 80#
  • Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and can do simple math problems
