Senior Program Manager
WORK LOCATION:Hanscom AFB, MA
Salary Range:$115,000-$130,000*

JOB STATUS: Full-time; Salaried

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors degree and 12 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
  • Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
  • Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
  • Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.). Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.

  • Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices.
  • Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
  • Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
  • Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
  • Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
  • Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
