We are seeking a motivated and mission-driven Community Program Director to lead the development, coordination, and oversight of community-based programs and outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for a strong organizer and leader who is passionate about serving the community, building partnerships, and improving access to resources and services.

As Community Program Director, you will oversee program operations, supervise staff, collaborate with community partners, and ensure programs are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Compensation

  • Pay: $1,800 bi-weekly

Position Summary

The Community Program Director is responsible for managing daily program operations, supporting staff, coordinating services, and ensuring program goals are met. This position plays a key role in strengthening community engagement, improving service delivery, and helping expand organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Oversight

  • Plan, implement, and oversee community programs and services
  • Ensure programs run smoothly, efficiently, and meet established goals
  • Track program performance and support improvement efforts
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery standards

Staff Supervision

  • Supervise program staff, coordinators, and support personnel
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment

Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations
  • Represent the organization at meetings, events, and outreach activities
  • Support collaboration with schools, agencies, and service providers
  • Identify community needs and service gaps

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate program documentation and reports
  • Assist with budgeting and resource tracking
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and requirements
  • Support grant reporting and program data collection

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in program coordination or community services
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Basic supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Preferred

  • Experience in nonprofit or community-based organizations
  • Grant-funded program experience
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus)
  • Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills
