Job description

Do you love keeping things organized, supporting meaningful work, and making a difference behind the scenes? Join Chambliss Center for Children and help support programs that strengthen children, families, and our community every day. We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Program Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for our volunteer program and extended childcare Program. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their administrative and organizational talents to support programs that positively impact children and families in our community.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm
Pay: $17-$20 per hour, depending on education and experience

What You'll Do
  • Maintain volunteer, donation, and program records
  • Generate reports, thank-you letters, mailing lists, and other documents
  • Coordinate the purchase, receipt, and distribution of program supplies
  • Help manage access control for childcare facilities
  • Support volunteer activities, donation drives, and special events
  • Assist with front desk and phone coverage as needed
  • Keep supply areas organized and stocked
  • Provide general administrative support across multiple departments
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous office or administrative experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
