Job description

Dual Credit Program Assistant - Work Study

Position Title - Dual Credit Program Assistant - Work Study

Student Status - Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position.

Work Location - Springfield Campus

Department - Dual Credit

Hiring Range - 15.00

Department/Employer Operating Hours - 8 am - 5 pm Some evening times might be available

How many hours per week are required? - Flexible

Description of Primary Duties - Provide day-to-day administrative and program support for the Dual Credit office. Responsibilities include responding to general email and phone inquiries from students, parents, and high school partners; assisting with data entry and maintaining records in university systems; and supporting application and registration processing. Contribute to dual credit operations by ensuring accurate data entry and record updates, tracking program materials, and maintaining the integrity of student and course information. Assist in preparing reports, communications, and outreach materials for partner high schools.

Required Qualifications - Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study through Missouri State University Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information (FERPA compliance) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
