Job description

Under general supervision, responsible for coordinating educational, cultural, or recreational services to the community.
  • Ability to carry, assemble and set-up exhibit equipment.
  • Knowledge of developing, organizing and managing action plans and projects.
  • Ability to take initiative and collaborate.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and credibility.
  • Knowledge of utilizing resources to collect, analyze, distribute, and display data.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree degree in related field is required.

Experience:

  • Two (2) years related experience is required.  
  • Organizes and participates in community forums, health fairs, conferences and related training throughout the region.
  • Coordinates educational, cultural, or recreational services to the community.
  • Provides education/training resources or assistance with community programs through calls, distribution of surveys, scheduling of appointments, or participation in meetings.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of activities and community outreach data for reporting/auditing purposes and assists with monitoring program expenses.
  • Coordinates implementation of healthcare outreach efforts for designated region and maintains current point of contact database for hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Serves as liaison between community programs and the institution.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
