Job description

We believe great games can't exist without a driven team and passionate community working together in unison. As a Community Manager at Kingsisle, you will help spearhead community efforts across all of our titles (Wizard101, Pirate101, Ravenwood Academy) and be a prominent public figure that represents our company. You will be the crucial bridge between our internal game teams and our game communities - making sure player feedback is heard and passed on, providing helpful answers to player questions, and creating community engagement strategies.
Requirements
Your Responsibilities:
  • Being the public face of KingsIsle games - making sure that our community's concerns are addressed in a timely manner, interacting with our players across multiple different channels, and providing clear messaging when important news needs to be communicated.
  • Planning and executing on our community roadmap and using it to plan critical community beats throughout the year.
  • Working with our existing Community Manager to run community activations and providing feedback as needed.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure all community activations align with the wider department and studio goals.
  • Crafting fun, effective, and engaging social media campaigns to entertain our audience and grow our brand awareness.
  • Brainstorming, planning, and executing community-centric projects such as contests, surveys, and newsletters.
  • Managing our content creator initiatives and maintaining good relationships with our key content creators.
  • Running livestreams in coordination with the Marketing and Design teams.
  • Creating and sending out regular reports that summarize what community actions have taken place, how they have performed, and how you plan to improve future campaigns.

  • 3+ years experience managing online video game communities professionally (bonus points for live service game experience!)
  • You're able to communicate efficiently and professionally in fast-paced situations
  • You're an adaptable organizer who loves to plan ahead and come up with effective solutions to problems
  • You love to flex your creative muscles and are "in the know" when it comes to current trends
  • You feel comfortable and confident with streaming on camera utilizing platforms such as Twitch and YouTube
  • You know social media platforms like the back of your hand and understand what makes them tick
  • You love data and making new discoveries about the things you work on
  • You're an excellent team player and collaborator, but are also able to operate independently when the situation calls for it
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office proficiency
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
