In thisย PRN (asneeded)ย role,ย youโ€™llย support the daily quality of life for residents by planning, coordinating, andย facilitatingย engaging programs and events. This position provides flexible, supplemental coverage to support resident engagement during scheduled activities, events, outings, and special programming needsโ€”whileย maintainingย aย residentcenteredย approach grounded in dignity, respect, and inclusion.ย

Create Meaningful Programs & Experiencesย 

  • Plan andย facilitateย engaging programs that reflect resident interests, wellness goals, creativity, and social connectionย 
  • Serve as host or facilitator for activities and events, guiding group flow and encouraging participationย 
  • Monitor resident engagement and adjust pacing or approach to support inclusion and positive experiencesย 
  • Create a welcoming environment for residents with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, including those living with dementiaย 
  • Promote resident dignity, independence, and choice through respectful communication and supportย 

Plan, Coordinate & Execute Activitiesย 

  • Coordinateย oncampusย andย offcampusย programs, outings, andย special eventsย 
  • Manageย logistics,ย including schedules, transportation, supplies, and staffingย 
  • Safelyย transportย residents to and from outings using company or approved vehiclesย 
  • Set up and break down program spaces, including furniture movement and materialsย 
  • Coordinate with vendors, community partners, and internal teams to support eventsย 
  • Track expenses and support responsible use of program budgetsย 

Documentation, Communication & Complianceย 

  • Maintainย accurateย documentation for activities, participation, and program outcomesย 
  • Collect andย submitย receipts, invoices, andย requiredย recordsย in a timely mannerย 
  • Support activity calendars, flyers, and promotional materialsย 
  • Communicate clearly with residents and families about schedules and program detailsย 
  • Use computer systems and software to support scheduling, documentation, and reportingย 

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCEDย 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skillsย ย 
  • Ability to lead andย facilitateย group activities with structure and warmthย ย 
  • Strong organization andย timemanagementย skillsย ย 
  • Creative and adaptable approach to programmingย ย 
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;ย Bachelorโ€™sย degree preferredย ย 
  • Minimum of two years of experience in senior services, recreation, hospitality, or a related field preferredย ย 
  • Experience planning orย facilitatingย group activities or eventsย ย 
  • Valid Colorado driverโ€™s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Recordย requiredย ย 
  • Availability to work a flexible, PRN schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, orย special eventsย as neededย
