Salary: $22.00–$24.00 per hour

About the Role 

Clarvida is hiring a Community Integration Specialist to join the Catalyst Program in San Diego, CA. This full‑time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work with Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 16–25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. As a Community Integration Specialist, you will provide direct services, coordinate participant needs, and support recovery and wellness goals in a collaborative, recovery‑oriented environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Provide direct services to participants and coordinate needs for each participant on their caseload
  • Identify and build upon the strengths of consumers, coworkers, and the communities served
  • Support consumers’ steps toward recovery and wellness
  • Create an organizational culture that respects and celebrates the diversity of consumers
  • Provide participant and family support
  • Mentor participants in communication skills, affect management, problem-solving, stress management, and other life skills
  • Assist participants in contacting and utilizing community resources
  • Participate in the development of wellness and recovery plans
  • Transport participants to accommodate community relationships (use of personal car or vehicle is required)
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and/or the company 
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited college or university and/or experience working with youth in an employment or volunteer capacity preferred.
