We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Scripps Health Recovery. This full-time remote position offers an annual salary between USD 120,000 and 130,000. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing recovery-oriented mental health services, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities to assist patients in navigating complex mental health challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patient needs, formulate mental health diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques during counseling sessions with patients facing numerous challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, and domestic violence.
• Provide consultation services to patients and their families regarding psychosocial aspects of human behavior in complex environments, ensuring an understanding of their mental health conditions and treatment approaches.
• Engage in short-term case management, promptly coordinating and monitoring treatment progress to ensure that patients receive the care and support they need.
• Foster a team-based approach by assisting in crisis intervention, including de-escalation techniques, assessment, and effective communication with public mental health crisis response teams when necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and treatment team members to enhance follow-up care, prevention planning, and referrals to outside agencies as needed.

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of clients ranging from adolescents to adults who may be struggling with acute or chronic mental health issues. Our approach is tailored to address the unique psychosocial stressors and interpersonal challenges faced by each individual, recognizing that effective mental health treatment requires an understanding of cultural, social, and familial contexts.

• A Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science and at least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health clinical practice.
• Current relevant licensure, including LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, allowing for independent practice.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical mental health services for individuals, families, and groups.
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable, properly insured transportation, as on occasion, home visits may be required.

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly within community health clinics or similar environments.
• Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management strategies in mental health.
• Familiarity with established mental health treatment methodologies and tools, as well as experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
