Job description

Job Title

VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Duties include but not limited to:

Oral Diagnosis: Examination, diagnosis and treatment planning for dental diseases and trauma to the dental, oral and maxillofacial structures.

Exodontia and Minor Oral Surgery: Uncomplicated extraction of erupted teeth; treatment of simple dental infections; minor surgery of the gingival tissues and alveolar bone; management of minor TMJ disorders using medications, occlusal therapy or occlusal appliances.

Endodontics: Diagnosis and treatment of diseases and infections of the dental pulp.

Periodontics: Diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the periodontal structures including surgical and non-surgical therapy designed to eliminate or correct periodontal conditions; maintenance procedures as needed for follow-up of initial therapy.

Restorative Dentistry: Diagnosis and treatment as needed to restore missing tooth structure using American Dental Association approved restorative materials.

Prosthodontics: Replacement of missing teeth and associated orofacial structures as needed to re-establish normal form, function and occlusion in the dental arch.

Anesthesia Procedures: Local anesthesia procedures.

Physical Requirements: Light lifting, under 15 pounds Light carrying, under 15 pounds Reaching over shoulder Use of fingers Both hands required Standing (2 hours) Repeated bending (1 hour) Both legs required Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously Near vision correctible at 13" to 16" to Jaeger 1 to 4 Depth perception Ability to distinguish basic colors Ability to distinguish shades of color Hearing (aid permitted)

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
