Job description

Job Title:Community Engagement CoordinatorReports to:Marketing and Development Directorย Department/Group:AdministrationLocation:Officeย Status:Non-exemptPosition Type:Part-timeย Job DescriptionThe Community Engagement Coordinator coordinates and communicates opportunities for community members to engage with Bear Creek Services both financially and personally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:ย 
  • Oversee and coordinate fundraising events for the organization, including vendors and volunteers.
  • Enlist, organize, and oversee committees associated with events. Ensure that committees are completing the tasks associated with events.
  • Assist in all staff, agency, and fundraising events.
  • Participate in agency Committees and perform tasks as assigned.
  • Promote events and assist the Marketing and Development Director with needs associated with fundraising.
  • Work with the Marketing and Development Director to develop the annual budget and follow budget expectations in event planning.
  • Purchase all items and services needed for events, working with the Marketing and Development Director on reporting requirements.
  • Draft, edit, support, and assist in the preparation and dissemination of a variety of marketing materials (social, traditional, and digital).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Development Director and internal teams on marketing strategy.
  • Identify and stay up to date on social media trends.
  • Regularly update social media content and respond to comments and messages.
  • Develop a relatable and consistent voice for the agency, through external and internal communication platforms.
  • Manage development of graphic designs, promotional fliers, and advertising. Prepare, edit, and format fliers and other documents.
  • Assist the Marketing and Development Director with the management of the companyโ€™s external image.
  • Update the agencyโ€™s website with relevant information.
  • Familiarize yourself with the donor database to manage donor relationships effectively.
  • Help coordinate publicity events with various media outlets.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Communicate routinely with the Executive Director on community engagement activities.

Experience and Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; An associate's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
Marketing or communications experience
Social media marketing experience
Licensing and Certifications:
Valid driverโ€™s license and proof of current automobile insuranceย 
Other Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must successfully pass the criminal background check.
High level of attention to detail.
