Position Summary

As an Associate Financial Advisor, you'll be a resource for our financial advisors and provide support to the clients of Emerald Financial Group including:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by expanding the client base and increasing assets under management.
  • Maintain accountability for personal revenue goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance to prospective and existing clients.
  • Communicate complex financial strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Oversee trade execution, insurance analysis, suitability review, and client account changes with accuracy and care.
  • Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education.
  • Represent the firm through client meetings, seminars, community engagement, and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration.
  • Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.

Thrivent Investment Management is the sponsor for FINRA registration, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the sponsor for insurance licensure.

  • Base salary is tied to recurring revenue from your book of business, with additional revenue sharing on first-year commissions and advisory fees. $75,000 - $150,000 annually dependent upon licensure and experience.
