โ€ข Understanding of Annuities and Risk Derivatives will be very beneficial.
โ€ข Experience of managing end to end project, budgeting, effort, stakeholder management, escalation handling
project reporting, communications, stakeholder engagement, progress assessment and reporting, ambiguity
handling, team management and Senior stake holder management tis essential
โ€ข Facilitates the advancement of multiple parallel work streams while delivering Operations projects requiring cross functional IT/business resources.
โ€ข Leads multiple large, complex projects with accelerated timelines within IT using Agile/Iterative methodologies.
โ€ข Leads deliverables to achieve measurable outcomes.
โ€ข Handles project resource demand and allocations in accordance to defined EPMO metrics.
โ€ข Leads the planning and delivery of projects through a gated process, from initiation through delivery and
project close, meeting scope, costs and schedules as approved per project plan.
โ€ข Participates in the PM community of practice and ensures process changes are communicated and followed
throughout the PM team.
โ€ข Reviews and assists in Portfolio Approval Committee (PAC) preparation and overall PM governance;
assists in delivering on the Agile roadmap.
โ€ข Stage gate planning and material prep, estimating and forecasting, building out epics and milestones for
Delivery with an overall view of cross functional priorities and portfolio objectives for the team.
โ€ข Assists with Project Steering Group preparation and prioritization across the vertical; serves as coach for other PMs in the team and assists with scoping initiatives.
โ€ข Develops and maintains the roadmap of initiatives in the vertical/horizontal as well as cross-functional
interdependencies with other areas/projects; works with the PMO to provide consistent delivery across the
IT organization.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
โ€ข 6+ years of progressive responsibility & success within Project Management required.
โ€ข 2+ years Project Management experience in a cross functional Agile environment required.
โ€ข Experience with large system implementations and or system upgrades preferred.
โ€ข Previous insurance or financial services experience preferred.
โ€ข Strong understanding of Project Management and SDLC processes required.
โ€ข Knowledge of Finastra suit of risk management products- Fusion Invest - will be key
โ€ข Experience with Atlassian Jira application preferred.
