Wabash, IN Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary: $16.25 per hour Travel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Shift: Any Job Category: Health Care About the Role This is a fantastic position for anyone interested in working in the health care or social work fields. We welcome current or former Caregivers, CNAs, and DSPs as well as caring individuals without previous, formal experience. We promote from within and many of our administrators, directors, and managers started with AID in entry level positions.

Responsibilities

Seeking community engagement staff to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their family homes and in the community. Hours: may work up to 10 hour shifts per family schedule; shifts may be scheduled any day of the week. Tasks include respite services, PAC services, DHI Services, and transportation. Benefits & Compensation Pay: $16.25 per hour. Full-Time benefits include health, life, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) match.

Referral bonuses, employee of the month ($100), and house of the month ($75 per person) bonuses are offered to all staff. Training All training and certification is provided and paid for by AID of Indiana. You'll be on the clock as soon as you start training. Locations Office locations: Fort Wayne and Muncie. Services are provided throughout Indiana.

Availability may vary by location. Qualifications 18 years or older High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license Previous experience preferred Skills Required Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently. Assist clients with light house cleaning, meal preparation, community outings, and teaching life skills. Potentially help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene tasks.
