Job description

Essential Functions
Learning & Development (≈50%)
  • Assist with building and updating learning content and course materials.

  • Help coordinate logistics for virtual and in person training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs (scheduling, materials prep, attendance tracking)

  • Support the L&D team in gathering and organizing feedback/completion data for reporting.

  • Assist with light instructional content updates (job aids, quick-reference guides, slide decks)

Internal Communications
  • Build weekly internal newsletter, company announcements and other internal communications content

  • Use Microsoft Sharepoint to create intranet articles and news, manage documents and update resources.

  • Support drafting, formatting and proofreading of internal communications for tone, clarity, and brand consistency.

  • Help maintain internal communications calendars and track upcoming sends.

Cross-Functional
  • Look for opportunities to use AI tools (e.g., drafting assistance, summarization, content organization) to speed up routine L&D and communications tasks, with guidance from the team

  • Participate in team meetings across both L&D and Internal Communications, representing a blended perspective

  • Support Giveback and Employee Engagement initiatives as needed

Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field
Experience: Some prior professional experience preferred; coursework or extracurricular experience in writing, event coordination, or training/education settings is a plus
Education & Experience
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, rising junior or senior preferred

  • Comfortable working part-time hours around a class schedule (hours/week to be confirmed by hiring manager)

Skills & Competencies
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint and Microsoft 365 tools preferred

  • Interest in learning Canva and other communications tools

  • Communicates clearly and adapts tone for different audiences (draft-level writing, with room to grow)

  • Organizes and tracks multiple small tasks/deadlines across two functional areas

  • Shows curiosity about applying AI tools to everyday work and is open to learning new systems (Workday Learning, Articulate 360 exposure a plus, not required)

  • Works comfortably in a hybrid, collaborative team environment

  • Receives and applies feedback readily; asks clarifying questions rather than guessing
