About the Role:
Bee Busy Wellness Center in Houston, TX is looking for a passionate and driven Community Development Coordinator to help grow our mission and deepen our impact in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to connect people with vital wellness resources while building meaningful partnerships that drive positive change. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to expand program awareness and participation
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community stakeholders
  • Represent Bee Busy Wellness Center at community events, health fairs, and public forums
  • Identify funding opportunities and assist with grant writing and resource development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align community programs with organizational goals
  • Track and report on community engagement metrics and program outcomes
  • Advocate for community needs and help shape wellness initiatives that address health equity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in community development, outreach, or nonprofit work
  • Strong knowledge of the Houston community and local health and wellness landscape
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or resource development is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or outreach tracking tools
