Community Marketer / Business Development Liaison

Location: Danville, PA or surrounding areas

We are seeking a motivated, high-energy, and results-driven Community Marketer / Business Development Liaison to join our growing team. This position is responsible for promoting post-acute rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing services while developing and maintaining strong referral relationships throughout the community.

Candidates must have a strong background in skilled nursing to be considered.

As the Community Marketer / Business Development Liaison, you will play a key role in driving census growth by building partnerships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners

  • Promote the facility's post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care services to increase admissions and census

  • Conduct regular community outreach, sales calls, and networking activities within the assigned territory

  • Review referrals to determine clinical and financial appropriateness for admission

  • Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure a smooth admissions process and exceptional customer service

  • Identify new business development opportunities and implement strategies to increase market share

  • Participate in community events, healthcare fairs, and professional networking opportunities

  • Track referral activity, sales goals, and marketing initiatives while maintaining accurate reporting

  • Maintain strong relationships with referral sources through consistent follow-up and communication

  • Represent the organization professionally while promoting our mission and services

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of skilled nursing marketing experience as a Marketing Director or Clinical Liaison required

  • Demonstrated track record of increasing admissions, visibility, and census growth

  • Strong sales, marketing, and business development skills

  • Experience reviewing referrals and determining appropriate placement

  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance authorization requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory

  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned market
