Job description

The Clinical Coordinator assists the Program Director in the administration of the program by developing a structured clinical criteria that meets or exceeds the standards of the accrediting agency. The incumbent coordinates the clinical schedules and rotations, mentors clinical instructors, and provides didactic instruction. The coordinator reviews clinical objectives with the students to assure they are understood, integrated with academic course material, and accurately applied in the clinical settings. The incumbent monitors student's progress in the clinical areas on a regular basis and intervenes when clinical objectives are not being met. The position assists the program director in student recruitment and selection, student counseling, program development, program evaluations, and maintaining program accreditation to ensure a quality education.

Bachelor's degree required within 5 years of start date.

Licensure or Certification:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
