Job description

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, Community Development, the Community Development Representative is responsible for implementing Delta Community Credit Union's community impact initiatives. This role focuses on delivering highquality programming that advances financial education, philanthropic engagement, and social impact across the Credit Union's 16county footprint. The incumbent supports community partnerships, manages program logistics, and ensures alignment between corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals and the needs of members and community partners.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Execute community engagement programs, events, and financial education workshops to expand Delta Community's visibility and social impact.
Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, schools, civic groups, and local organizations that align with the Credit Union's mission.
Support sponsorship and philanthropic giving programs through coordination, reporting, and partner communication.
Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, HR, Business Development) to promote CSR initiatives and volunteerism.
Assist with developing and maintaining CSR program budgets, ensuring appropriate documentation and responsible spending.
Track and report community impact metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and communicate success stories.
Represent the Credit Union at community and industry events, serving as an ambassador of Delta Community's commitment to financial wellness.
Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for community programs and special events.
