Patient Care Coordinator

Healthy Connections Community Health Network is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our Texarkana Team.

The Role

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be an integral part of our medical office crew. Your responsibilities will involve handling crucial clerical tasks that ensure patients are prepared for their visits, payment arrangements are in place, and reappointments are scheduled when needed. From answering calls and making appointments to managing electronic charts, gathering accurate payment info, faxing, scanning, and handling fees during appointments – you'll keep things running smoothly.

Qualifications for This Position
  • High school education
  • Two years of experience in a medical office
  • Preferred/not required bilingual (Spanish) skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and network systems
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel to various locations and meetings
  • Problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Time management expertise for handling co-equal support staff responsibilities
