• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health and well-being of clients, effectively identifying both their challenges and strengths.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the cultural and psychological needs of clients, whether through individual, family, or group counseling.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy, to enhance client outcomes.
• Develop detailed treatment plans that articulate clients' goals, necessary interventions, and mechanisms for ongoing progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and healthcare specialists, ensuring holistic and integrated care for all clients.
• Deliver timely crisis intervention services, performing risk assessments, and crafting tailored safety plans to support clients in acute distress.
• Act as a knowledgeable advocate for clients; helping to navigate resources, rights, and services available in the community.
• Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma and barriers to accessing care.

Your work will impact a diverse client base, ranging from individuals experiencing common mental health issues to those facing significant psychological trauma. Our clients often come from historically underserved populations, and your cultural competence will be crucial in fostering effective therapeutic relationships. By promoting inclusive practices, you will help dismantle barriers to care and empower clients in their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health policies, ethics, and procedural frameworks related to social work practice.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, client assessment, and treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling meaningful engagement with clients and fellow staff.

• Experience working within a community mental health setting or related environment.
• A strong understanding of cultural humility and the ability to engage effectively with a variety of populations.
• Previous involvement in community outreach initiatives or advocacy work is a plus.
• Working knowledge of electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
