Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more, tailored to address diverse mental health needs.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and social workers to ensure clients receive holistic support across mental health services.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to uphold ethical standards and legal regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in the mental health field by actively attending workshops and participating in relevant professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a dynamic and varied client base, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Counselors are expected to adapt their approaches to meet the diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds of clients, ensuring each individual feels valued and understood.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in clinical settings, showcasing your ability to effectively support clients.
• A solid understanding of ethical practices and legal regulations governing the counseling profession.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build trusting relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Benefits include:
