Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to create personalized treatment plans that address clients' mental health needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring interventions are specifically tailored to client circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, guiding clients through their therapeutic journey and fostering a safe space for open discussions.
• Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements associated with counseling practice.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying informed on the latest research in mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and address complex client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients reflect a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences. As a counselor, you will work with individuals grappling with various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your role will be pivotal in creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and resilience, empowering clients to navigate their challenges confidently.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulations relevant to counseling practices.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team of healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While not required, specialization in areas such as trauma therapy, family systems, substance abuse counseling, or couples therapy is highly desirable. Candidates with experience in diverse therapeutic modalities and a commitment to advocacy for clients will be favored.

Compensation and Benefits

Community Health Connection offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your caseload. In addition to financial compensation, you will be eligible for health, dental, and vision plans that ensure comprehensive coverage for you and your family.
